The two best places I can think of to start are

1. The Internet Business Journal. This is an on-line
journal - but costs money (bless their
ferengi souls). Gopher address: gopher.fonorola.net

You can see tables of contents and a few promos
designed to whet your appetite. From memory, several
of the articles were about advertising.

Also at that site are excerpts from Strangelove's
(real name) book How to Advertise on the Internet.
Its coming out soon, but for a price
you could probably get access to advance
material.

2. Cantor and Siegal's _How to Make a Fortune
on the Internet_. Quite possibly the sickest,
slimiest, most poorly written and self serving
book to come out in a long while. However
since they were at the center of the first
great advertising scandal on the internet
(they provide the most jaundiced account of this
imaginable). Has several advertising related
chapters.
