Hi folks,

Don't you love people who cannot answer something except by saying

And Steve's a writer, too! (grin)

I don't mean to jump all over Steve's response; don't get me wrong. There's a
lot to be said for using a beefed up PC with lots of graphics "capabilities"
as well as lots of fancy RAM and opening up several applications at once. But
with all of this technology available to us at such reasonable prices, our
society is getting too caught up with the technology and not getting back to
the basics like writing.

Truly, you need the tools to do the job properly. If you're writing technical
documentation for computer software (for example), you might just need all
that fancy RAM to be able to do screen captures (for example) and other
necessary tasks. However, Please, whatever you do:

Don't confuse writing a VIDEO SCRIPT with the necessity of having a fancy PC.

You don't need one!

Did you know that good 'ol Andy Rooney STILL writes on his trusty 'ol
non-plug-in typewriter?
Please, let's get back to the basics!
