Maybe this is standard in some kinds of contracts, but I got
a laugh out of it and thought you might, too.
From a charter agreement:
"Interpretation: In this agreement where the context so admits
the masculine gender shall be deemed to include the feminine
and nueter [sic] and the singular shall be deemed to include
the plural."
Right!
