It's been a long time since I've seen a call for these PC writing packages
in a job requirement:

WordStar, Wang, Displaywriter

Those are the ones I first learned more'n ten years ago. Anybody out there
still using these - in a work environment?

By the way, you may find that your local city, county, or college libraries
have personal computers for your FREE use. They may have the most
common packages installed on them, like Word and WordPerfect. This is the
case with our county library here. You just reserve time on them.
