There is a brief description of the Region 7 conference on page 12
of the September STC Intercom. (It arrived yesterday, the penultimate
day of the month.)
The regional conferences covered did _not_ include the Region 8
Conference, Working on the Edge: Exploring New Technologies &
Changing Markets. It will be held here in Silicon Valley on
November 6, 1993. Sessions run from 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with
tracks including Science & Technology, Writing & Editing, Visual
Communication, and Education, Training & Development. For more
