The Washington DC Chapter of the STC is holding its annual publications and art
competition, where each year about 200 entries compete for top honors at
the local level and the right to proceed to the STC's international
publications and art competition.
The deadline for entries this year is October 15, 1993. Each entry will be
evaluated by three individual judges, who will critique the entry and
return their comments to you. The three individual judges will then meet
together to determine, by consensus, the award winners in each category.
Submitters will be notified of the competition results in December 1993,
and awards will be presented at the Competition Awards Banquet, to be held
at the National Press Club in Washington DC on January 18, 1994. The
winning entries will be on display at the banquet. The top winners from
the DC Chapter's competition will proceed to the international level of
the competition, where they will compete with winners from other chapter
competitions.
Entry fees are as follows:
Members: $55 per entry
Non-Members: $65 per entry
One entry can have up to three entrant names. Entries cannot be returned.
