Hi all. I now have a file of article titles in STC's Technical
Communication journal, from 1986 to present. At last, I can stop hanging
out in the closet rummaging through dusty back issues.

Part of the data came from my local library's CD ROM collection, and
the rest I had to enter manually. I deleted extra info from the CD ROM
version, such as book reviews, author names, company references, etc., to
keep the file relatively small. It now lists only article name and issue
number, e.g., Three approaches to reader analysis, p81, February '93.

The file is 120k in ASCII format, so can be retrieved into a word processor
or a database. If you're interested in a copy, send me a mail message
and I'll be glad to send it to you. Or if there's a lot of interest, I
could post it to techwr-l for access via a newsreader. Maybe someone can
tell me which is the (politically?) correct method?

Thanks,

Karin
