Subject:Re: Any FrameMaker & Ventura Experts? From:Ken d'Albenas <kendal -at- AUTOTROL -dot- CUC -dot- AB -dot- CA> Date:Wed, 16 Jun 1993 18:27:45 MDT
There was a fair-sized article posted a year or so ago on
comp.text.frame, by someone whose department had switched
from Ventura (PC) to FrameMaker (Macintosh). It was a
well documented list of constructive criticism and questions
like, "Why can't I do such-and-such in FrameMaker?" and it
earned good reviews. I've mailed a copy to Irene, but if
anyone else wants one too, let me know personally (no need
to clutter up the techwr list) and I'll fire one off to
you. If more than a scattered few reply, I'll ask the
author for permission to rerun his article in techwr-L.
Maybe he'll even add an epilogue.
Cheers,
