TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Andrew, when a member of this list writes a response that includes a
typo that he or she cannot go back and correct on a primitive "mail"
system, do you really think that pointing out the typo has very much
to do with "accepting criticism positively, and realising that we all
continue to learn"?
Not everyone on this list has access to the same hardware, software,
that you might have. I am unwilling to judge everyone as if he or she
has my access to an editor device or mailer.
