I am a retired tech writer, who was active in this group years ago.
This year, I have been very bored, so I took customer service job for a few
weeks, to get out of the house.
I really like their products and their staff.
Their training was, meh. Trainers are smart.
But their materials, awful.
It made my teeth ache to work with them. Inconsistent, missing info, left
out all those things that experienced users don't need, and beginners go
insane without. And just try finding something in their lists of topics.
Which are alphabetized by the cute names they assign to the features
But, like so many companies, they won't be impressed by a proposal to fix
the content.
So, I want to suggest that they put the 25 topics that a beginner needs to
know into a module that can be run as an app on a cell phone. But I need a
tool that I can use build it.
I used to build help files with the meat grinder tool, before there was
robohelp, or bluesky, so I know what Im doing..

I would be doing it mostly because I want to have fun. And I have all these
notes about what changes they could make that would make their miserable
training useful.
So I can really use some good suggestions. Not looking for something that
will let me extract code from complicated data sets, Their source files are
in Google docs, and there is almost nothing in the way of graphics.
Output would only be android or i-phone. My cell is an Android, so I have a
test bed.
Thanks.
