Hi John,

We just have different processes. I let people draw initial flow charts on white boards for me or on paper. If itâs on a white board, I take pictures or they do it if we arenât together and I never outline with other people around.

Itâs interesting to find out how different each personâs work process is. But Iâve been working remotely on and off since around 1999 so I had to develop ways of collecting lots of confusing information from people on technology I didnât know anything about.

I hope someone has a suggestion for you.

Hi Lin...I understand. However, I'm thinking of two situations...flow charts and creating outlines. Even in-person meeting, I tend to sketch out process flows and document outlines. I currently use 11X17 pads of paper, then redraw at my desk...this would speed up things up for me.

Regardless, I'm still looking for an application.

Hi John,

My suggestion is more of a process one. I use zoom and record my SMEs and they share their screens with me so I take minimal notes. I listen differently when I don't have to focus on the notes, and usually SMEs will draw things better than I can. It makes my documentation much more accurate, it requires less reviewing, and most of the people I work with are delighted with the outcome. Plus you don't need to purchase new equipment unless you want to.

Good afternoon, everyone...hope you are playing it safe.

Looking for a recommendation...

I have a Dell touch screen tablet running Windows 10.

I'd like to find an application that will allow me to draw and write on the screen, then perform character recognition on the text and save the images I draw to some kind of png, gif, or jpeg.

While price is no object, obviously, price will be a consideration.
What'cha guys using?
