I have a similar situation with an old non-subscription Acrobat Pro and the
latest free Reader DC.
I never had issues of both affecting each other.
The Acrobat Distiller version, though, is determined by the most recent
Adobe application installed that includes Distiller. For example, if you
have a FrameMaker installed that is more recent than your Acrobat, the FMâs
Distiller version will replace the older Acrobatâs Distiller version. Just
to keep in mind. In day-to-day use, this isnât a problem for me either.
