This is probably related to the âscale and layoutâ setting in Windowsâ âdisplay settingsâ. 3000 Ã 2000 px is a high-resolution display (about 3K-ish). I have a 5K high-res display (5120 Ã 2880 px). To illustrate the effect of the scale and layout setting, I made the following screenshots for a thread on a similar matter in another group:
5K @ a display and layout setting of 200%: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1PwSXPiWxMWSTz2jEMIqGuDL1P1vCDyej <https://drive.google.com/open?id=1PwSXPiWxMWSTz2jEMIqGuDL1P1vCDyej> (6-MB PNG file)
5K @ a display and layout setting of 100%: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1TsH9TDeCZZpF9nSS2TOqNs-ChSCaF-qP <https://drive.google.com/open?id=1TsH9TDeCZZpF9nSS2TOqNs-ChSCaF-qP> (6-MB PNG file)

Your client probably has a scale and layout setting that is higher than 100%. However, some Adobe applications are always displayed at 100% regardless of the scale and layout setting (e.g., Illustrator CS6 and Photoshop CS6). I assume that is because Adobe does not always use the standard Windows UI elements or frameworks or whatever.

If Windows is running natively, there is nothing you can do about it, AFAIK. If Windows is running in a virtual machine, you can switch the VM into a non-high-res mode. But your client probably uses the high-res display for a reason and might not want to do that ...

Best,
Thorsten
