TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.

Maybe tells something about who they think their customers are and what their customers know about tech writing.
Itâs a Russian company. I donât know anything about the status of our field and profession in Russia. In some parts of the world, our field and profession are less established and are usually practiced by non-tech writers compared to the US and Europe, e.g. Asia AFAIK. Maybe, on the other hand, tech writing in Russia is perfectly on a par with tech writing in the US and Europe. Please correct me, dear Russian colleagues! :-)
Maybe, tech writers are simply not their target audience (for any number of reasons) but software developers are, who must do a tech writers job and are looking for tool. They explicitly mention software developers in their about page.
In my German/European bubble, I haven't heard of clickhelp before nor of most of their customers listed on their website.
