I was responding to Robert in his comment against the discussion of ethics as being about "the phrase in question" and not about my concerns of fixing grammar when the instruction may be wrong.

To suggest that I don't value ethics is the most insulting thing that you can ever do to me.

I didn't do that to you. I didn't even quote you or reference you when I asked my general questions about ethics. You are discussing the subject and not trying to push it aside. I value that.
