Yes, it's 8.1. Believe, I would have known if it was an automatic Win 10
upgrade (been there, done that on wife's system).

I suspect something obliterated my user AppData subfolder structure. All
signs point to that. Fortunately, I'm backed up.

But how in the world did a simple reboot choose to do that all on its own?
