Laptop external monitor setup (Win 8.1)?

My Windows 8.1 laptop has an HDMI video output. To it I've attached a 24"
monitor using a DVI-D adapter on the monitor end.

I have a second 24" DisplayPort monitor I'd also like to use, being able to
display a different image on it than what is on the other two screens..

Is this feasible? What hardware is required?
