Nope, we tested it.

PDFs I created with Acrobat Standard could be opened and commented on in
Reader, but did not connect to the shared review server even though they
were review PDFs. If they were opened in Acrobat, the server connection and
Tracker worked.

PDFs created with Acrobat Pro connected to the server in both Acrobat and
Reader.

And our tools person found a message on the Adobe forums from a member of
Adobe staff saying that shared reviews created with Standard could only be
used AS shared reviews by others with Acrobat.

Seriously, you'd think that would be an EASY piece of info to find, but it
took us a bit over 2 hours of flailing and searching.
