Not to mention when a linking to a shared file just doesn't work. For
instance the longtime PowerPoint Win/Mac discrepancy where embedded audio
files sounds in Mac didn't work on Windows, even if the linked file was
shared.
These are usability issues that as documenters we need to point out as
"don't do this for optimum success."
I still don't know if the PPT audio discrepancy is fixed yet. I try to
avoid that where possible.
