Most people use ergonomically dreadful hardware and furniture. At most
places I've worked I was the only person who had a desk of the correct
height. I've often seen people with bifocals or progressive lenses
holding their necks in bad positions all day. I've worked places where
a huge percentage of people had carpal tunnel or other problems caused
by inappropriate or badly adjusted keyboards and/or furniture. A lot
of co-workers who use multiple monitors have had chronic neck pain.
