Well you couldn't always get an HD display for $300. Besides, the higher
resolution on a single monitor can make things too small for some of us
oldsters. Also, I find it easier to maximize applications on a single screen
that having to position multiple applications on a single monitor, even if
it is big enough. I think if you polled enough tech writers and other
computer professionals, you would find that my assertion is not as "bizarre"
as you think.

I find it bizarre that anyone would claim two monitors is a requirement when
you can get a single ULHD display with a 3840x2160 desktop for $300.

It looks like getting 8GB instead of 4GB currently adds about $80 to a
Latitude on outlet.dell.com. Aftermarket is less than half that.
