Back to my 85pp inherited DOCX based on an ancient 2008 template created by
someone who knew not what they were doing. Today virtually every style in
my living document has been modified--mostly using a manual process.

My assignment is to create a new report template, based on my
highly-modified DOCX, with only those styles that are *actually
used*residing in the template. Many of the styles will have custom,
workplace-related names to facilitate intuitive use by folks who have
better things to do than to guess which style to apply to what.

Given that I know how to save a new style based on what I'm looking at in
the living document, what's the *uber*-quickest way for me to learn the
step-by-step methodology to template creation, given the parameters I've
cited? (I don't have a lot of time to spend on this, so reading a book
isn't going to help me in this situation.)

Might there be an online reference that is right to the point? Maybe a
YouTube video, PPT presentation, web page or some other insta-guide?

Thanks!
