Headline for a newspaper story about the addition of audible signals for the blind at a pedestrian crosswalk:

"Audible Signal Added for Hearing Impaired." (The headline writer didn't want to use the "discriminatory" word "blind" and chose a miseuphemism. Or is that misuse-phemism?)

"Begs the question" ?? Isn't there a big thread somewhere in the techwr-l past about that phrase and its misuse?
