By the way, I see nothing wrong with using the word "password" as my universal password for all my essential logins. Kidding, kidding....

For me, the process is mildly annoying, but I completely understand it. We'll all probably be seeing this more often until people stop using "password" to access sites, or some other fix comes to light.
