What I use is what I was taught many years ago and that is to use "or both," as in "this or that or both." Sometimes people like to "correct" my usage and repeat the options after both with "this or that or both this and that," which is silly. When there are more than two options I say, "any one or combination of this, that, and the other."

What is the simplest way of handling "and/or" situations? Writing "and/or" all the time seems a bit clumsy after awhile.
