I just got the announcement for the 10.1.2 update for SBM. Most of the new stuff is great, but they are repurposing a description field formerly visible only to developers and administrators and displaying it as user help text. You don't have any choice about this as far as I can tell. At least they're not exposing comments made on data fields.

The first sentence under Upgrade Considerations says it all. End user help is a good thing, but exposing developer-written text that may have been used for other purposes is definitely not.

Upgrade Considerations:

* If you provided descriptions for applications, workflows, states, transitions, and custom forms in SBM Composer before SBM 10.1.2, you should review the information before you upgrade. After the upgrade, it is visible to users.

* You can use the End-user Help icon located on the Home ribbon bar in SBM Composer to search for content in the End-user help text setting.
