"Curate" is a very specific term that is used in my specialty of writing to
scientific software. In the science world, it means to research and
integrate diverse forms of data, including that from scientific collections,
and specific jobs are advertised as Scientific Data Curator Jobs.

Subject: When to use the word "curate?"
Morning, Whirlers,
As I browsed a few newsy sites this morning, I saw the word "curate" being
used where I used to see "written," "compiled," "developed," or even
"created."
I put it to you all. When should we use "curate," and when should we not?
Cordially,
Craig Cardimon
