Just as bad, and possibly more infuriating, is the "chairperson" (sometimes self appointed) who upon hearing a question--one the remote people didn't catch at all--says, "I think we've been over all that before. Moving on..."

I gave up long ago trying to attend meetings via a remote connection. Dev folks sometimes know all the terminology, but the TW can easily mis-hear a key phrase.
