Did anybody mention the USB footpedal? I've got one, and it works perfectly with the free ExpressScribe software, for backup/play/fast-forwarding, just like the ones I'd used with my
cassette and microcassette transcribers, years ago.

You can also use it with other apps, but I haven't tried the pedal
except for transcribing.

BTW, I've got one or two old transcribers in my tech-ready-for-disposal
pile. I dunno if they still work. Anybody interested enough that I should
crank 'em up and see what happens? Email me off-list. I'm in the greater
Boston, MA area; happy to ship wherever.
