> I'm having a problem I've never seen before. I'm using Word 2010 running on Windows 7. I never used Word 2010 or Windows 7 until this year. I have to use a lot of code field inclusions, like { docproperty something }. I should be able to toggle between seeing the code in the field and seeing the results by selecting the field and pressing <Shift><F9>. But while this always worked in the past, it doesn't work in this installation of Word. In every document, that key chord is inactive. I can toggle the view by right-clicking on the field to open the options menu. I have looked through the Word option settings and cannot find anything that seems to make any difference.
<Shift><F9> (and all the other function keys) still work in Word 2010.
Make sure that your Function key is enabled (I have a tendency to hit
the FLock key and disable the Function key).
