I'm having a problem I've never seen before. I'm using Word 2010 running on Windows 7. I never used Word 2010 or Windows 7 until this year. I have to use a lot of code field inclusions, like { docproperty something }. I should be able to toggle between seeing the code in the field and seeing the results by selecting the field and pressing <Shift><F9>. But while this always worked in the past, it doesn't work in this installation of Word. In every document, that key chord is inactive. I can toggle the view by right-clicking on the field to open the options menu. I have looked through the Word option settings and cannot find anything that seems to make any difference.
Is this normal behavior for this software? If not, anyone have an idea how to fix it?
Thanks.
