William Sherman asked for a little help rewording a couple of sentences
about adaptations:
________________________
Diversified in the sentence: "The most diversified adaptation that plants
have are their leaves
which can do amazing things such as capture water, change colors, and act as
the fingerprint of the plant."
_______________________
I'd suggest: "In plants, the leaves display the most diverse adaptations;
Leaves are used for amazing things, such as capturing water, changing
colors, and acting as the fingerprint of the plant."
_______________________
Herbivorous in the sentence: "Just like plants, animals have specialized
adaptations to help
them survive the ever-changing challenges of nature. Some examples of
adaptations that animals have are - herbivorous animals like horses or cows
have flat teeth to help them grind up grasses.
________________________
I'd suggest: "Some examples of adaptations that animals have are the flat
teeth of herbivorous animals like horses or cows that help them grind up
grasses.
__________________________
Diversified in the sentence: "Finally, the most diversified physical
characteristics of many
animals are their feathers"
__________________________
The diversified physical characteristics of birds are most visible in their
feathers, although their feet show a wide range of adaptations, too.

Merry Christmas, too
