Jessica, you're talking about what us eLearn'n professionals are calling
clicky-clicky bling-bling these days.

Yes, I do make eLearning, no I do not make clicky-clicky bling-bling, and
yes it is generally well received by those that can learn from them. We try
to take a layered approach and provide documents, self-paced online
multimedia (asynchronous), and instructore led online (synchronous)
training. Since the asyncrhonous is the most labor intensive, it tends to
be the piece provided least often. For quality, instrcutionally sound
material it's about 3-4 hours effort/minute of instruction (source:
ASTD.org). We used to quote that as 200-300 hours effort/hour of training,
but noboday wants hours-long w/cbt anymore.
