Cat Salm asked about: Creating a locked template:
"I need a way to create a document template that would allow others to edit
certain aspects of the text, but that they absolutely cannot change anything
but what I want them to."
Do they have Word? You can create a document in Word, then convert it to a
locked form. In a locked form, text can only be added or changed in the
specific text entry fields. As long an none of them unlocks it, and only
changes the text in the allowed areas, it might work. That would at least
keep them out of you ID files.
