Subject: technical documents in e-format?

Has anyone experimented with putting their documents in e-format to be read on the Kindle, Nook, or iPad?

This does use some basic HTML and CSS for formatting.

I've been thinking of playing with this a little bit, just for fun, but I'm not sure how useful a job skill it would be (other than knowing some HTML and CSS, that is)
