It's amazing what we will go through when we are passionate about
something. When I played in a band I chose the guitar or keyboard
because I only needed to bring one or two items. However, our drummer,
who had a 7 piece rack kit with assorted cymbals, stands, wind chimes
(yes wind chimes), and the much-valued cowbell.
As a tech writer I have my USB stick of small helper apps and PDF
references. In some cases I'm allowed to bring my laptop.
