Select the entire paragraph and ask to Insert Hyperlink. Link it to whatever you want to link it to.

Then change the Hyperlink character style from the default blue color and underline to automatic text and no underline.

You probably also have to change the Followed Hyperlnik style similarly.

This works unless you also want to have blue hyperlinks in the same doc elsewhere.

Subject: Word 2007 - Issue with Cross References and Bookmarks

I am using Word 2007 to create "jumps" from words with a paragraph to a
table in the appendix.

Problem:

When I create the cross reference, Word 2007 inserts the bookmark
*text*into the paragraph. I would
like to cross reference without having any text appear in the original
paragraph. I just want the cross reference to
"under the covers" so to speak.

Is there a way to do this in Word 2007 or does anyone know of a plug-in I
could get to solve this issue? I didn't want to use
hyperlinks, but I don't think there's any other way to do this. I wanted the
text to stay normal so the hyperlink wasn't a distraction
when a reader reads the content.

Thank you.

Bobbi
