I have been enjoying a new (to me) ebook reader--in my case the Cybook Opus.

Since they support .pdf files, I was wondering if anyone has seen them used
by customers as a highly portable documentation platform. I would think that
repair people in the field, for example, could make good use of them when
repairing complex machinery without having to have a computer nearby.

Of course, I suppose a tablet could also be used--but not with the excellent
battery life of the readers.

On the other hand, the present generation mostly has monochrome
screens--which is due to change next year with the release of color e-ink
displays, as I understand it.

Still, a pocketable reader under six ounces like mine might be useful in
some cases.
