Well, there is minimalist writing, and there being so minimalist that
the user can't understand what you've written. But when you're
debating "Click Save" versus "Click on the Save button." I don't see
that three extra words make a whole lot of difference in clarity, but
they do add up when it comes to cost per word to translate.
Especially if you have an extensive doc set.

I just found it interesting that we had this whole long thread about
why you do it one way or another, and no one mentioned that
localiation costs could be a factor in why company A does one thing in
their Style Guide and company B does something completely different.
