I use: Click XYZ. The UI I'm documenting mostly uses links to trigger
actions. Each link is made of a small icon followed by the name of the
action. Since the UI is not, in my eyes, very user-friendly, I try to guide
my users with a screen capture of the icon followed by the name of the
command. So far, I haven't had any comments on that since my first doc for
that company is due next week. I hope the final customer finds it useful!

Also, as I write in English and since English is not my first language (nor
my customer's), I find "Click XYZ" easier to understand (and to translate?)
for an international audience. But maybe I'm wrong.
