What you described is called in drop-down link
We use flare here and what you want to accomplish is a Drop-Down link
Its possible in
- RoboHelp
- Flare
- HelpStudio
- DocToHelp
- Help and Manual
And practically all the other good HATTs. Probably named more or less the
same thing 'a drop-down link'.
A close-cousin to this is the Expanding text link. But that's for another
day

Subject: Expando type links - exposing the result in a HAT
Hi all -
Anyone have any luck exposing a Question/Answer DHTML like effect, similar
to what you find in MS Office 2003 help, in either the RoboHELP or
Dreamweaver editors? Specifically, exposing the answer for ease of input in
the HAT?
The question is a link with a swappable image arrow with viewable text
collapsed when a user clicks on another question link.
As you can imagine, manual input of the answer content into the HTML code is
not a desirable solution.
Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to offer!
Guy McDonald
