I tried Milan's query URL, and I found links to this thread in the middle of page 2 of the results. But what's funny is that neither of the links was to Prof. Hailey's original posting, but to one of Madelyn's responses and one of Milan's own posts. Gotta love Google's mysterious relevance rankings...
