I can't open that at work, either, and I can't vouch for what might be
there -- Encyclopedia Dramatica is usually a lot more acerbic than I am,
sometimes too much so -- but yes, I am sure it's the same Flounce.
Others should be warned: Encyclopedia Dramatica is not a site for
work-time.

I imagine the Flounce as a beautiful bird with a terrible voice.

No one ever thinks it's a Flounce when they're the one Flouncing (and I
speak from experience). To be fair, sometimes a Flounce is absolutely
necessary. I think that "sometimes" is exceedingly rare, but I'm sure it
exists. However, knowing about the Flounce has kept me from doing it on
occasion, so maybe this will help others, as well. It's all about the
bridges you're willing to burn! (Or, as I like to ask myself, "would you
CC your mother on this email?")

I also imagine I'm going to get a wrist-slap for this. I can't think of
a tie-in to technical communication!

Sincerely,
Madelyn Boudreaux
