If you want a notes and task/list application I'd recommend giving Ilium's
ListPro a try, http://www.iliumsoft.com/site/lp/listpro.php. I've been using
it for years. It's a very flexible list application with alarm capability
and the note field now allows bullets and formatting, you can link to files,
etc. It doesn't have the repeating task capability like Pocket Tasks. It has
a desktop companion so you can sync.
For handwritten notes, I like to use PhatPad,
http://www.phatware.com/index.php?q=product/details/phatpad. I can scratch
notes down then have it recognized and converted to text later. PhatPad also
has a desktop companion.

I've tried PhatNotes but it didn't work well for me. It needs to be running
for alarms to work. I rely on my alarms so that is a key feature for me.

I prefer using the Alarm Notes within PocketInformant,
http://www.pocketinformant.com/products_info.php?p_id=pocketinformant. I
think you might be able to sync Outlook Notes with PocketInformant but
haven't really tried that. PocketInformant is a must have for me. There are
so many ways to filter and organize tasks but it's not a checklist app.
That's when I use ListPro.

My PDA is without a doubt my most used tool. I'm starting to look at
SmartPhones so I'd welcome any recommendations!
