I don't have any experience with Pro/Engineer, but I do know that Photoshop
CS4 Extended has built-in 3D tools. I don't think either PS or Illustrator
supports U3D or CGM (does anyone support cgm these days?!), but if you can
export to EPS or AI that would probably be your best bet. PDF is definitely
supported, but I don't know how much editing you could do of that kind of
file.
