It's been about 12 years since I worked anywhere that had a budget to
hire production staff. Everywhere else I've been, everyone did for
themselves.
If I was doing it as a 1099 writer, I might decide to sub it out to
someone, depending on time, budget and how much I really wanted to avoid
having to do it.

Anyway, I was wondering how other folks here handled this sort of
situation. If you're an employee, so you have someone in your department
to do the donkey work? If you're a contractor, do you farm out the
donkey work to someone?
