Subject:Photo in 3D space -- a quick lesson From:Chris Morton <salt -dot- morton -at- gmail -dot- com> To:techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com Date:Tue, 10 Feb 2009 10:05:13 -0800
I have a photograph that I want to apply to the side of a box in 3D space.
What's an easy-to-use tool that lets me go this? We have Illustrator,
Photoshop, CorelDraw! (7) and Gimp at our disposal, but not a lot of time to
perform this operation and so little time for requisite training.
Of the aforementioned tools, I have the most experience with CorelDraw!,
although our admin is currently taking some college-level training in
Illustrator and Photoshop.
Whichever of these (or other open-source freeware) tools you recommend, I'd
appreciate it if you could also get us started, such as (once image is
imported) select *Tools* > *Options* > *Skew* or whatever.
If you can recommend another listserv or forum for questions like this
(where valid answers are quickly posted), that would also be appreciated.
Thanks!
