But installations and migrations aren't exactly 
"recoveries," are they?

Our systems can also take days to install, depending
on availability of platform and personnel, but when an
event occurs that requires "recovery," there's usually
a very annoying alarm going off on the flight deck.
Other simultaneous events, such as flaming engines
visible to the passengers through the cabin windows,
can add considerable addtitional urgency to the need
for fast "recoveries" that require little or no action on
the part of the user.
