When children grow up speaking a pidgin, they often spontaneously impose
a grammar on it, and it becomes a creole.  The language goes from "baby
talk" to a small and young but otherwise full-fledged language in a
single generation.

Where do these children, often poor and unschooled, acquire the right to
reconfigure their language in such a radical way?  From being born, of
course.  Linguistic invention is every human being's birthright.

That obviously doesn't mean that everyone will be good at it.  But I
dare to suggest that even marketing directors are born human.  :-)
