It sounds as though you are looking for the name of the little statement
that is like this: 'This booklet was produced with Xerox Publish! using 12
pt Arial and 12 pt TNR'. I forgot what that statement is called; it seems
that it used to be in manuals, somewhere in the 'front matter' years ago,
but they don't stick to the convention anymore.
If that statement went in the front somewhere then it could not be called an
afterword I suppose; colophon sounds right.
